Water-based filtration reduction agent
SURS is a high quality pre-gummed starch product that can be used in most water-based drilling fluid systems, including fresh water, sea water and saturated saltwater mud, with temperature resistance up to 120°C. SURS itself is non-viscosifying and acts as a cuttings trap to inhibit the dispersion and expansion of active shale. In order to avoid bacterial degradation caused by fermentation, it is usually necessary to use with fungicides to ensure its lasting effectiveness.
SURS-HT is a special high temperature resistant modified starch derivative that can be used in most water-based drilling fluids, including fresh water, seawater and saturated salt water mud, with temperature resistance of up to 150°C. The common starch SURS is used when the bottom hole temperature is below 120°C, and the SURS-HT resistant starch is used to replace the common starch when the bottom hole temperature is above 120°C. ANLOS Sodium polyacrylate copolymer is a medium molecular weight white polymer fluid loss reducer product with a temperature resistance of more than 200 ° C and is not susceptible to bacterial attack. It is ideal for high temperature and deep Wells. However, ANLOS is sensitive to calcium and magnesium ions, and its resistance to bivalent ion pollution can only reach 300ppm. AAES-190 is a white polymer product specially designed for high temperature and high pressure water base drilling fluid system. Its main function is to effectively reduce high temperature and high pressure water loss under high temperature drilling conditions. It can be applied to any salt water drilling system. The temperature resistance in fresh water, seawater and monovalent salt water system can reach 190℃, and in formate system can reach 200℃. At the same time, AAES-190 also plays a role in auxiliary viscosification and shale inhibition.
MAXTROL is a white polymer designed for use in extreme high-temperature drilling conditions. Its structure features strong chemical structural links and cross-chains to provide ultra-high temperature stability. The primary function of MAXTROL is to reduce water loss at high temperature and pressure under high temperature drilling conditions. The temperature resistance in fresh water, seawater and one-valence and two-valence salt water can reach 240℃. When the general bottomhole temperature is less than 180℃, AAES is recommended. When the temperature exceeds 180℃, MAXTROL is used. The maximum downhole temperature can be applied to 260℃.
CONSIMP-PLUS is a concentrated type of cation exchange phenolic resin, used in ultra-high temperature Wells and salt paste layer, suitable for sodium chloride content of more than 25% saturated salt water system, the highest resistance to calcium ion pollution, up to 28,900ppm calcium ion concentration, equivalent to 8% anhydrous calcium chloride content. CONSIMP-PLUS unique molecular structure and high degree of sulfonation make its product characteristics show extremely high temperature resistance and strong hydrophilicity, CONSIMP-PLUS in saturated brine system temperature resistance of up to 200℃.
